Ariel
Ariel is a fictional character in the Electromagnate Comic Book Universe from Annadale Comics created by John Rap. Ariel is a winged ancient. Along with her husband Noetal she was instrumental in building Earth's matrix of megaliths in antiquity. Ariel's chapter, chapter 7, from the original Electromagnate graphic novel, The Book of Rebel Nations, is often cited by fans of the series, and also critics, as the best chapter in the book.

Introduction
In chapter 7 Ariel, who has been trapped underwater for thousands of years, finds ways to get what she wants by arranging barters among other people. For example, telling a king to bury a sack of gold to have his village protected. Then telling a militia if they protect the village Ariel will lead them to the gold.
Powers
Ariel, with the aid of her wings, has gained the power to influence people telepathically. She can control animals completely, resetting their goals. With humans she can influence them, by offering deals, which she brokers with others to fulfill. When acting heavy handed Ariel is known to influence people, "like an itch they cannot resist scratching."
Ariel's powers are amplified by water. This is due to her having thousands of years of practice using water as a communication medium.
Personality
Ariel is funny. She's beautiful. She has seen a lot. All wildlife adores her. She can be very appealing to people. They'll pour out their soul to her. They'll do anything for her. She nurtures this. As she only gets things done through other people. She rarely, if ever, does anything directly, unless she feels like doing it. Most of the time she gets other people to do everything for her. People do things for Ariel. If they do, she rewards them. If they don't then they are useless to her. If they break their promise to her, she has them broken.
